The first batch was brewed in a single barrel by Jerome Hatt in 1664. Having just earned his Master Brewer's diploma, he set up his brewery in the center of Strasbourg, a stone's throw from the local cathedral.
1664 Lager is a beautifully crafted and supremely sippable premium lager, with a citrus aroma and notes of apricot. French Strisselspalt hops, 'the caviar of hops' deliver a delicate balance of aroma and bitterness.
