Brooklyn Brewery’s Stonewall Inn IPA named the Official Beer of Pride in London 2025

Brooklyn Brewery has today announced that The Stonewall Inn IPA will be the official beer of Pride in London 2025, starting an exciting three-year partnership with Europe’s largest free to attend Pride festival.

Pride in London is a year-round organisation that champions, platforms and advocates for the LGBTQ+ community, and organises the enormously popular Pride in London Parade on 5 July. The UK’s first ever Pride parade took place in London on 1 July 1972, and over 50 years later, Pride in London has established itself as one of the most important, vibrant and well-attended Pride events in Europe.

The three-year partnership will see Brooklyn’s brand proudly displayed across Pride in London events, with the brand also having pouring rights for Pride in London which will see a range of enticing Brooklyn beers available to attendees.

Brooklyn Brewery has been brewing The Stonewall Inn IPA since 2017 in collaboration with The Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative (SIGBI), a non-profit organisation that supports grassroots LGBTQ+ organisations through awareness campaigns, educational programming, and fundraising. Created to honour The Stonewall Inn in New York, widely regarded as the birthplace of the modern LGBTQ+ Pride movement, The Stonewall Inn IPA is also the official beer of New York Pride for 2025.

Launched in the UK in 2024, The Stonewall Inn IPA is an American style IPA with a 4.3% ABV, featuring lively Citra hop notes with hints of lemon peel and grapefruit zest. Over the past year, The Stonewall Inn IPA has achieved rapid success, massively growing in popularity with more than 2,000 venues listing and millions of pints already sold since launch.

Part of Carlsberg Britvic in the UK, Brooklyn Brewery has continued to expand its range and availability, recently launching five new brews in Spring 2025, including Pulp Art Hazy IPA and Bodega Run Pale Ale.

Jo Marshall, Director of Marketing at Carlsberg Britvic, said: “Brooklyn Brewery and the iconic Stonewall Inn share a hometown in New York City, and we also share an unshakeable commitment to inclusivity and supporting the LGBTQ+ community around the word.

“Our beers are made for everyone to enjoy, so we’re thrilled that our Stonewall Inn IPA will be the official beer of Pride in London 2025 as we begin this multi-year partnership together. We can’t wait to be part of the experience for everyone attending and celebrating Pride in London.”

Dee Llewellyn, Director of Partnerships & Growth at Pride in London, said: “We are delighted to be kicking off a multi-year partnership with Brooklyn Brewery as part of this year’s celebrations, and that the Stonewall Inn IPA will be Pride in London’s official beer of 2025. We value Brooklyn Brewery’s commitment to inclusivity, and their support of our mission to promote visibility, unity and equality in society for all LGBTQ+ people and allies.”

Pride takes place in June to mark the anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising, a pivotal moment for LGBTQ+ rights around the world, which took place in New York City on 28 June 1969. Pride in London will see an expected 35,000 parade goers and 1.8 million visitors join the festivities and attend a variety of events, including the main Pride Parade, to celebrate the legacy of Pride and show their support for the LGBTQ+ community.

Brooklyn Brewery will have a range of its beers listed across Pride event bars throughout the festival. Alongside The Stonewall Inn IPA, Brooklyn’s beers include Brooklyn Pilsner and the alcohol-free Brooklyn Special Effects, as well as new releases Pulp Art Hazy IPA and Bodega Run Pale Ale.
